Default Intake gasket

I have some oil seepage up through the top of the intake manifold gasket. I put the gasket in last winter. I retorked about 2 weeks ago. No luck. I have to replace it.

The engine is stock. What is the best gasket that I can use? Should I go for a thicker gasket than stock?

I always use Fel-Pro and have never had a problem. I don't know where your leak is exactly, but you should use sealer on the each of the 2 end pieces and a little around the water ports.

I don't use the end pieces. I use a silicone bead. Yes, I put a light bead around the water ports.

It is seeping oil between the intake manifold and gasket on the drivers side.

Why don't you use the end pieces? Was it leaking prior to you replacing the gaskets last winter?

Before ripping it apart, make sure the oil is not coming up through the bolt holes. Did you use some sealer on the intake bolts?

I replaced the original gasket due to a vacuum leak in the back.

I don't use the end rubber pieces. Silicone seals better.
