I got mine from a local paint supply shop. I had to rent a special gun similar to a caulk gun to apply it. It mixes two compounds together as it releases. Expensive, but good stuff. I can find the brand tomorrow if needed.
Is your body Fiberglass or SMC ? They sell a special SMC adhesive (3M and Evercoat, Evercoat is #994 I believe) I got that stuff on Ebay, search for Evercoat SMC and you'll find it. The Evercoat glue is the only product that I could find that comes ina 1qt can - it does not require a special mixing gun. This gun is about $80 - that's a bit expensive if you only need it for one job.... I mean we're not glueing Corvettes together on a daily basis....
Does anyone know what you call the adhesive that holds the front clip together?
Original stuff was called Vette Bond, I think...there is an advertiser in GHemmings that sells it. Also A Corvette Image sells something just like it, right color and everything.
I'm using LORD Fusor (148, IIRC), seems to be working great.
I've been using the Lord Fusor products also. The 127EZ I used last had a set up times of up to an hour.
Most of the traditional bonding adhesives set up in as quick as 5 minutes, which is way to quick for me to bond on a front clip. Of course it depends on what you are doing. If you are just bonding two small pieces together, you may want the quicker set up time.
