you'll have to loosen the #3 mounts at least. I'm not sure about the 79, but you'll have to disconnect or loosen anything connecting the rear frame to the body as well.
I changed the #4 mounts on my 74 vert without having to loosen any others,however the rear of a coupe,especially a 78 or newer is likely considerably stiffer than my old flimsy shell.
I've done it, just loosen the #3 bolts until they are loose but not completely out (access panels in front of rear wheel wells). Nothing else was needed on my 76.
Do as described above removing #4 and if it fights you coming out, do the following:
put a piece of wood against the fiberglass to protect it and a wedge above the frame and with a pry bar you will gain another 1/8 inch. This is what I needed to do on my 79 and won the battle. You can win also!
