corvette central update imho
Hey guys
I'm sure most of you remember a while back corvette central did theyre whole moving thing.
Anyway the shipments really suffered back then.
It was so bad I stopped using them.
A few months after the move they sent me an appology letter , explaining how hard it is for them to be organized during the move and everything.
They said they were back on track and everything was back to normal.
So I decided to give them another shot a few weeks ago.
I ordered the wheel knockoff with the shield things...(im tired and forgot the name
After about a week or so I received the "labels" that go on the knockoffs, but no knockoffs.
After 3 weeks I gave them a call.
They THEN told me the stuff was on backorder and it would be shipped that day.
They didn't bother to call me or email me to let me know it was on backorder like most reputable vendors.
Anyway It's been about a month and still ! no knockoffs or shield things.
Still waiting...
I'm never using them again :mad

And if ya go in to order something over the counter, ya probably still have the 4 hr wait too, huh? What a great place...think I'm gonna trash that T-shirt of theirs that I have... :cuss

I stopped using them myself when they hadf all the problems, not because of the move, but the way I was treated on the phone trying to straighten it out. VERY poor customer service with a very bad attitude. I can understand the problems with the move, but not the attitude.......LT

I've had the same problem with them over the past 3-4 months!! I thought that maybe it was just me! Glad to hear that I'm not the only one. I too received the "apology" letter and it sounded sincere. So I gave them another shot....still waiting on parts!!!! Never again!!!!

Eckler's isn't as good as they used to be either. They have sold the parts business so many times and just did so again recently. Very high shipping prices and you can't always be sure if you are getting the correct part or a poor reproduction. Paragon, Zip & Dr. Rebuild are better in terms of quality of merchandise and availability. Mid America is good also but in MY opinion, Eckler's is not the quality vendor they used to be
