Window regulator
My window can be pushed down and won't lock in place, it will also roll itself up a little bit every time I hit a bump. Do I need to loosen the spring to prevent the roll up or due to the combined issues just replace the regulator.
These are manual cranks on a convertible 69.

If I remember right, there is a spring type clutch in the window crank housing that is supposed to keep the window in position and only allows it to be rolled up or down with the handle. The spring may have broken inside the housing.
