Clutch release bearing position
On a clutch release bearing, on the side, there is a little pin stud.
Where does this go in relation to the clutch fork? In between the tines, or it doesnt matter?.
And if it does matter, why?
Technically it doesn't matter where the "pin stud" goes in relationship to the fork. When the bearing spins, the stud will "catch" on the fork and stop the base of the bearing from spinning, only allowing the face to spin. When I set them up, I will set the stud opposite of the opening in the fork, toward the "belly of the fork", if that makes sense.
