Speed bleeders need opinion
go to the local big box home store. buy a piece of 3/4" (not 1/2" and not 1") PVC. cut the 3/4" PVC to exactly 64 inches.
now pump your brakes a couple times. then take the PVC and put one end on the brake pedal. bow the PVC and put the other end on the door striker bolt.
the PVC will act as a spring applying pressure to the pedal. as you break the conventional bleeders loose, it will push the pedal to the floor and hold it until you tighten the bleeder back up. rinse and repeat.
it does take a bit longer than the two man method or speedy bleeders but it does work.
and it works on just about any vehicle that uses a single striker bolt.
The Motive bleeder for GM only is only $60, the one Santa is bringing me also includes a thread on adapter (for my street rod), for $80...good comparative value, as I'll be able to use the Motive bleeder on numerous cars.

I read every post in this terrific thread with respect to speed bleeders which has perked my interest..
So my big question is...............How do they actually work or better yet can anyone explain to me how to use them as in some simple instructions or do they come with instructions???
As usual any and all comments etc are most appreciated!!

TECH NOTE: Speed Bleeder Instruction Guide!

Step 1: Open Russell Speed Bleeder screw 1/4 to 1/2 turn. Attach hose to Speed Bleeder bag or catch can to collect brake fluid.
Step 2: Pump brakes until air is purged from wheel cylinder. No need to close the screw between pumps as with a stock brake bleeder screw.
Step 3: Close valve. Repeat previous steps for other wheels, adding brake fluid to master cylinder as needed to maintain level.
Now you dont have to find someone to do the pedal thing for you hoping they dont screw it up lol
