73 350 fuel pump question
My fuel pump is leaking from the top, as I understand, it is not a rebuildable unit...the local auto parts store has the fuel pump for a 73 chevy sedan listed for 16$, and the fuel pump for a 73 corvette 350 as 27$...Does anybody know what the difference would be between the 2 fuel pumps? I thought that it would be the same but the parts boy I spoke with mentioned some thing about a turbo listing in the description of the part he pulled up on his computer screen. If there is a difference, which one would be better for gas mileage and fuel consumption?

The Vette fuel pump housing is also a little longer to allow the inlet & outlet fittings to clear the frame & surrounding brackets. The fuel line size is bigger than a standard sedan fuel pump also (if I remember right).
