I am concerned about varmints getting into my wifes car over the winter. Last winter they got everywhere into an old Z28 that I owned. In the exhaust, the air cleaner, the vent ducts. I took it out for a spin in April with my wife in the passenger seat. She squeals and starts to laugh. Turns out a mouse was under the hood someplace, got sucked out from where the wipers are and got stuck on the side mirror. Arms flailing all over, look of terror in his eyes  , then whoosh, he lost his grip on the mirror.
Anyway, I plan on putting moth bals in the interior and put metal caps on the exhaust and pull the air cleaner and cover the carb, but how in the heck do I keep them out of the vents. Getting one of those storage bubbles won't work, I won't have enough room to work on my vette then. Any suggestions?
I used to put my car in a storage bag. Not one of the blow up kind. This was like a giant trash bag designed for cars. I just pushed it in the bag and put in some desicant (sp) stuffto keep it dry. The car came out spotless. No rust even on the rotors and no critters anywhere. It was caleed an Omnibag. I was able to use it for about 5 winters before it had to be replaced. I now keep it in my own garage attached to the house so I don't have this problem anymore.
