I was able to WOT my 232/240 in lockup OD 4th gear and just go. As the rpm went up it would just gain power.

Your smaller CFM EDL heads also make a cam milder

btw, my comp cam is ground on a 112lsa which made all the difference in the world. I personally would not use a 110lsa cam ever again. oh and if your getting that cam from Comp, might as well go billet core with a sleeved gear, but don't expect your order to be correct...comp never gets it right.

That's the truth! My 236/244 SR billet steel is 112 LSA and of course it didn't show up sleaved as promised so I've had to buy two nearly $100 each polymer dist. gears for it.

Crane cams has been no problems and if anything goes wrong they were always right behind with full value credit. Comp cams had me send back a cam for credit then told me that it was out of the warranty period. So I even wasted more money sending it back.

For a little more you can get a 434 sb from Scott Shafiroff 4300.00 free delivery,look under ultrastreet.com ,slap your heads on there and 500+hp,500 tq,check them out .

And with a 434sb ,248I 254E@.050 ,616 622 lift 112 ls you can still cruise at 1400 in 5th thats if you have a 5 speed
