I've seen several posters from Colorado on the site and wondered if any of them knew of a good trustworthy mechanic for working on vettes in the Boulder Longmont area. I have a guy for brakes and suspension work but am looking for one to do engine work.
Get in touch with Lars. He is in I want to say Lafayette but my mind is probably incorrect. Anyway, I know he is closer to Boulder than Denver.
If he can't help you out directly, I am sure he can point you in the right direction. In fact, he can probably teach you how to do all the work yourself. :D

Re: Colorado mechanic (vettasy)
I do a lot of quality Vette work out of my house in Lafayette. Body, paint, engine, tuning, carbs, ignition, suspension, & general restoration. If you'd like to chat or stop by to take a look at my work and qualifications, please drop me a note and I'll send you my ph#. Since I do this as a hobby and not as a business, I don't charge the going shop-rate prices, either.

Re: Colorado mechanic (lars)
vettasy is down in Mexico at the moment, but we've touched base and will be getting together for some Vette chatting...
Other Colorado Vette owners are certainly invited to stop over or to contact me at any time, too. I always have some kind of insane project in the works, and I'm always available to do a little tuning, tweaking, wrench turning and beer drinking. If you're in the area and need a little help with the car, or just want to show it off, be sure to look me up.
