Default Distributor Install Help Needed...

I am having trouble getting my distributor back in and aligned to the correct position.

Is possible I need to turn the oil pump shaft a little to allow the distributor to drop into the proper location?

The engine did move while the dist was out, but I did put it back to TDC.

Thanks

Did you try turning the rotor when you slid it in?.

You need to turn the oil pump shaft. Use a long screwdriver.
