Side Muffler's
I have a set of factory side mufflers for a big block 70-74 Corvette trouble is i have a 69 big block Corvette.The passenger side fitted up perfectly but the driver's side attaches to the exhaust manifold ok but sends the muffler away from the car ending up about a foot away from the rear mount. I know i should have bought my year muffler's but i managed to get these brand new for $100 and could'nt pass up a bargain.What is the easiest fix,can the pipe from the manifold to the muffler be bent to fit as it seems that everything is the same between years just bent a little differently or maybe remove that pipe and have another pipe bent and welded on?
