recently i asked about a float bowl adjuster leak. do i have to remove the entire bowl to fix the gasket under the adjuster? tried search and couldnt find any answers. thanks ahead of time
No - remove the retaining screw , the nut that adjusts the needle valve slides off and then you can replace the gaskets, believe there is one on each side of adjustment nut.
You are talking about the float adjustment? You can change the needle and seat by removing that screw/nut. Hold the nut, remove the screw from the needle & seat, take the nut off and replace the gasket.
You can also replace the needle & seat, and the o rings. Just remove the whole thing. Be careful- when you remove the whole thing, you have to readjust the float level. Too high and you could get gas all over.
