The carbs you have have been "modded" by some genius. I used to Drag Race a 440 Six Pack Mopar, I think all 2300 3X2bbl Holley set-ups have 2 ports from the vacuum diaphram of the secondary carbs to the main body. One port is the vacuum source to open the throttle blades, the second (smaller) port is a "bleed" to allow the closing of the throttles to occur. I had great difficulty with my Mopar Tr-Power before the Super Stock racer Paul Rossi showed me how you plug off the bleed ports and install a real heavy return spring on the 2300 outboard carb mechanical return linkage to improve low RPM throttle response and earlier opening (I already had the lightest Holley springs in my carbs and was getting very frustrated with my set-up.) With Rossi's help my "6 Pack" became a 11 second strip terror to be respected (all on 9inch wide slicks.) Holley will sell 2300 diaphram housings to you if you want to replace them.
I took all 3 carbs apart , installed the rebuild kits and reassembled the correct way. The Vacuum pods should now be correctly connected and I hope, it will work fine.
How do this carb dates be read ?
Aft carb LIST 3659 , 1917
Fwd carb LIST 3659 , 1917
ctr carb LIST 4055-1 , 1647
I also found the primary jet sizes to be 63 and the 2nadry jet size plate to be -3.
Hope that is correct for the 435 HP setup.
Holley discontinued the original a long time ago, but I had a commercial account directly with Holley and after many conversations with their techs, it was agreed that the 34R-5113-3 was the correct part.
