How do I get into my vette?
1971 stringray, passenger door is closed and handle does not activate opening the door. I believe the connecting rod inside has broken or become dislodged. HOW DO I GET THE PASSENGER DOOR OPEN so that my wife doesn't have to 'hop over the door'?

if your lucky and its still connected to the opening lever inside the door..use a flat,thin (banding/straping works well) with a small notch cut out. You can hook the rod, pull up,door opens..then fix.
