Default Another New Guy ...

Hi guys!
I've been looking around the forum for a couple of weeks and just set up my membership.
I just brought a 68 coupe home. I was so excited Sunday night that I almost tried sleeping in the garage next to her.
A little about her - 427 (originally 435 hp Tri-Power, but now single carb) 4speed, International Blue. The frame and body are in great shape. Last owner "refreshed" the engine less than a year ago. But, she will need lots of cosmetic work - including entire new interior and paint - oh, and the removal of 4" fender flairs added to accomodate oversized tires) .. yuck!!!
I intend to return her to stock.
A little about me - I got bit by the Corvette bug at the young age of 7. My father had a 71 Ontario Orange LS5 454. As you can imagine, I grew up dreaming of the day I turned 16 and how I would con my dad into giving the car to me. That dream was shattered (literally) before I even got my driver's license by a drunk old woman in a Lincoln Continental.

I look foward to making a lot of new friends here!
