The big steering wheel coupled with type
of alignment will have a loose feel.
I was never able to get rid of it completely.
It was plenty safe, all new fiberglass leaf setup
in front, tubular As, yada yada yada.
I am sure that the Saginaw manufactured flex coupling would be correct. The Saginaw process always hot riveted the stop pins to the flange. Also, the Saginaw rubber disc has those distinctive, sharp little wire ends sticking out along the edges.
I have seen pictures of a flex coupling with cold upset stop pins. That assembly definately was not a Saginaw part.
