King Lear,
Apologies not needed, I knew you weren't having a go at anyone Down Under. I'm as pi$$ed as anyone about the cheap Chinese junk (sounds like an inexpensive eastern boat!!LOL) that floods our shops here. Mens and ladies underwear is one example. We have a company here called Bonds which is famous for its Australian made singlets and T shirts, but now more and more of them have "Made in China" on them. I refuse to buy them and am now looking at Haines ones. Are they still made in the USA?

This is a great thread, I'm following it closely. Lots of invaluable info such as GOSFAST's first habd report. Keep it up.

Regards from Down Under

LOL, man it just goes to show everything is getting made in China. Soon, if we still want jobs we will have to move there. Before that I might just move to Russia, I here they have a great health care program!

Well the newest update is my builder is going to contact the warehouse he got these from. If they dont supply me with some new Canfield heads I have purchased then I will be taking them to court. Also I contacted Canfield and they are going to get their attorneys involved as well for the warehouse selling chinese heads under their name. Some days it is good to be in law enforcement, I really would have just prefered I got the heads I paid for.

Default sbc rhs heads

just got a set of the rhs small block Chevy heads, bolted them on to my 327 and no intake will fit, suspect a casting shift from the producer.

Yeah I dont even think this particular casting is made anymore... I believe Pro comps are different now but could be wrong.
