That looks like the same type of connector used on the IAC motors. See if you can find a used engine bay wiring harness. I saw one on ebay last week. It should have that part of the harness and a multitude of other connectors that would come in handy for spare parts eventually. OR try Ecklers, Mid America, The Last Detail etc etc..
Sir thank you very much you were right Ecklers had it.I appreciate al your help!
got the injectors and installed them ,yes I put the front and the rear in the right place and also installed another new ECM.
No codes or lights flashing..still have same problem Checked distributor found a broken plactic tab (ACDelco Distributor Terminal Block ) on the rear wiring harness I orderd it form Ecklers will be here tomorrow. Was wondering if ther could be anything else that I could have missed. I also ordered a new module.

Which part is it? The module does not come with wiring. Its the other part. I can"t see the name for it though. I'll check...I still have the old one and should have the GM part number.
If you think its an advance issue you can test for this. The tan wire running down the rear driverside of the motor is the advance bypass. If you get it started and unplug this wire the idle should noticible change. I gotta tell you though even with this wire unplugge the sytem doesn't load up. Never the less it could still be one of those parts in the distributor.
Maybe a dumb question. You obviuosly had the TBI tops off to rebuild them. Is the tower with the regulator on the back TBI and the tower with the compensator on the front TBI?
Back being closest to the firewall??
I don't think you can mix them up but its been a while since I have had them off.

checked and double checked but just for the record i did one at a time and re-installed so there would be no mix up.

Jim one note maybe this will spark something, while it was idleing we plulled each plug wire from the distributor cap and it seemd to smooth the engine out, which doesn't make sense since it should have run rougher, we did this with every wire.......when we pulled the cap off and looked inside thats when we found this terminal block plastic part broken.

Its that the part you ordered??? Plug looks different.
Try disconnecting the tan wire. No difference in rpm will tell you its that part for sure.
Just though of something. I had a mechanic look over my distributor back in 2005. Bonehead let the ground strap on the coil drop out. I found it wedged behind the oil pressure sensor. I also found a burn coil. Make sure that piece is in there.

Jim you are correct as usual , BUT I found out that the picture in the SERVICE MANUEL does not accurately dispic the correct plug. The one I am ordering is the correct one for my car I matched it up with what was actually in the car. just thought I would mention this because thats the first time I have seen the Helms book not give you a accurate picture.

Well tonight I installed the terminal block harness and module in the disrributor. It did not fix the problem. I put the tester on the car and tried to crank it. I got it started for a few seconds then same thing touch the throttle and it stalled out . I did get a code 31. The tester gave me a message of the following:
Wastegate high Map overboost.
I have been looking in the service manual but I do not see a code 31........has anybody out there ever heard of this code.
