Is this a corvette part?
I ordered some stuff (brake parts). And got everything. The other day my daughter walked in with this, saying she found it near the boxes I recieved??
Any idea?
It's about 1" long

I've worked on a lot of brake systems of C2 and C3 Vettes and never saw anything like that. However, it does look like a bolt having something to do with a hydraulic system. Perhaps someone else can help.

It's been used--notice the seal mark under the head.
So, if it's used and not rusty, then it didn't come from a C3.

Looks like a banjo bolt with a checkvalve in it. I never seen one of them on a vette either

My guess is a pressure relief valve for engine oil pump or Power steering pump. Not a C3 brake part for sure.

I don't remember seeing that bolt in the parts i rebuild so it isn't the steeringpump. It looks like the brakefluid bolts they have on later c4 brakes but it isn't that either.. Good question!
