1 - No, but can be messy if you're not careful! Get some 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive
2 -
http://www.corvette-rubber.com/
3 - hate it when that happens!

1. Not difficult, don't forget the 3-M Weatherstrip Adhesive Remover
2. Hard to beat Wilcox Corvette prices for a kit. $195.00 for forum members.(Mine's on the way)
3. Sometimes it takes more than once.

Willcox weatherstrip is good! Make sure you order the correct Top weatherstrips. I ordered wrong ones and had to buy the correct ones.

There is a supporting vendor, Corvetteworx, that had a group purchse for weather striping last year. I was VERY happy with their product and service.

I know most members seem to have a problem with Ecklers but their laytex window pillars weatherstrip is the best. Anyone elses your drivers and passangers windows will not go up all the way. You will have to open the door to get the glass to seal.

It's not cheap but cheap is not always the answer. The other weatherstripping on the car, use what you want.
