Default plug wires

72...350SB

I need recomendations for plug wires. Anything bigger than 7mm does not fit through the rubber grommets in the ignition shielding support brackets. I have a Mallory dual points ignition distributor if that helps.

Thanks for any assitance...rt

The set that comes up from underneath with 90 degree plug ends keeps the engine bay clean from wires and garbage that goes with wire sets. [Looms ect.] That would be a stock 7mm set for early Vettes, and would also work with headers. .

VERY limited hi-grade wire choices that'll also fit thru the factory shields on side of block ... accel has a line of 5mm (that's FIVEmm) spiral core wires in black, blue, red or yellow ... accel 7541 series. 5mm should slip thru w/ no problem.

5mm wires here:

Default thanks to all...

I would like to dress up the engine compartment as suggested by Sixfooter, but do not want to get into changing distributors, coils, points, etc. unless needed or all at one time. I need to save a little for re-painting and re-carpeting this spring.

I appreciate all the answers and will look into the Accell line to see what is available.

Taylor makes 7mm spiral core wires that I heard are supposed to be very good and come in an assortment of colors. I personally have never used them, but I'm sure someone on here has and will chime in with there opinion on them.
