Bence, your point about stroke length is well taken (and correct!) A 427 uses a 3-3/4 stroke. I guess we'll find out about your torque when you put it together. I hope you get it together soon! Personally, I'd like a longer stroke AND bigger displacement
Flareside, I won't have it done before winter that's for sure. I'm going to take my time over the winter and (attempt) to do the job right. My uncle will be helping me out if I run into any problems and I can always ask you guys on the forum if I get stumped on something.
