About 500 miles ago I relaced the brake pads, calipers, rotors. Whenever
the brakes are applied they start to sqeak. This happens after they warm up. I've got the non-metalic pads so I don't understand why they are making this noise. Any suggestions
U may wanna try oraganic pads.......which u should be able to buy at a local parts store..I have semi's on mine and I am putting in shims today to try and remedy the problem..I will let you know if it works...Organic pads do NOT stop as well as Semi-Metallic..Only my rear pads squeal and it is right when I stop
fyi, I put the Hawk pads in mine and at first they were squeaking like a SON OF A GUN. I just bared with it for awhile and have driven a good 1000+ miles on it and its running quiet now. I don't understand it, but maybe others have similar experiences???

Squealing usually is caused by movement of the pads backs against the caliper pistons, also by the vertical edges of the pad backing rubbing against the caliper. Coat both areas with copper grease (high temperature proof). I had reasonable results with that. Current cars have pads with anti-squeal lining on the back...
There are anti-squeal kits - I have also used one where tubes of plastic, slit legnthwise, are pushed over the vertical edges of the pad backing. Seem to work ok, too.
Also, generously break the edges of the pad itself (not the backing).
