header performance
I have some headman headers that have been sitting around a long long time and are rusted inside, not rotten, just very rough surface inside that I can see. I was wondering what effect this would have on performance? Any ideas. Thanks. :cheers: :flag

Rust itself will make little difference. There is always a boundry layer of gasses that aproach zero velocity in a tube, and in a rusty tube that layer would be a little thicker, but we're talking a few thousandths of an inch.

Appreciate the imputs, I wanted to try them out to see what basic performance gain I would get before I shelled out the dollars for good hedman or dynomax ceramic coated. Thanks again. :cheers:
