Default New displacement based on bore.

Okay, I know this is all kind of best guess kind of stuff, but I really dig knowing thinks like literage and cubic inches.

If I started with a bone stock 7.4L 454, what are the new numbers as it's bored +.010 every time?

.000 - 7.4L - 454
.010 - ???? - ????
.020 - ???? - ????
.030 - ???? - ????
.040 - ???? - ????
.050 - ???? - ????
.060 - ???? - ????

Thanks for the help.

Bore x Bore x Stroke x .7854 x number of cylinders gives you Cubic Inch. So you can do the the math your self.

pi * r^2 * stroke * 8

didn't you pay attention in high school or just too busy posting here.

for example

for a 350 4" bore 3.48" stroke

3.1415927 * 2^2 * 3.48 * 8 = 349.85

I don't think he had the bore and stroke numbers for the big block. The math is relatively easy...when you have the baseline numbers.

That's as funny as a Race Car Driver that doesn't know what a snow tire is.

I have a little Excel chart that I use to keep track of bore, stroke and displacement numbers for various engines that I have worked on or built. I'm pasting it here, but the Excel formatting gets a little screwed up when pasting into the Forum format. If ou want a copy of this chart, just drop me an e-mail request. The chart has the calculation fomulas in it, so you can add lines to the chart if you know the bore and stroke.
