ignition fuse
on my 92 chevy 1500, i had some issues with blowing the fuse...i just checked for shorts/loose wires and didnt find anything... i let it run then gave gas/etc...turn off truck...started up....so far no issues..... my question though is when i blew the fuse last week and then replaced it on the road, once the motor started, the fuse would blow again..... do you think that the efi (or what ever setup is on the motor) might have a loose connection or soemthing?....... i'm stumped ..

You might want to check the engine harness at the back of the block. Where the harness runs behind the block there is a clip that will wear though the insulation on the harness. Just a guess, but it’s worth a look. The retainer clip is located on the driver side by the distributor.
