If I want to run a 100 shot on my 454, How much do I need to retard the timing if anything? Right now I'm at 18-19 degrees initial. I only plan to engage the nitrous selectively (4 or second hit) ....not using it through all the gears.

If you are not real close to 8.5 to 1 DCR with a 100 shot no timing retard is needed. If you are at the detonation threshold now drop it down 2 degree's for a quick shot and run premium fuel.
I agree with a low compression motor running good gas, and only 100 shot your safe staying with 0 retard. If it were mine I would not touch anything... but since its not mine and I don't want to see you break anything here is my real answer.
If you look on the web you will see recommendations from 2 degree per 50hp all the way to 2 per 150hp, some of them no doubt smart people who have run lots of bottle on their cars. I'm sure there are more than a few morons out there too. Just because my NO2 kit on my motor can get away with no retard does not mean yours will. Honestly you should go through the paperwork for your kit and follow the mfgr's recommendations. If you don't have the paper work anymore or it dosen't give a timing recommendation call them and do what they say to start with. Take some plug readings and once you have some experience under your belt, tune from there.

Just a basic Sniper kit. Engine has 10.25 CR. Not intending to use all the time, most likely will just being installed for "bling" factor (and because I already have the kit) ..... and used very little at all. I will probably get more HP out of the 1/2 NOS throttle spacer
