paint time

been 5 wks but its ready to paint saturday so much paint, primer, that came off the car took that long to get it ready but its ready. had paint delivered thursday midnight black and indy silver ,new stripes,emblems, door handles cant wait to drive again. :cheers:

thanks all did go well i did not paint it my friend a body man of 23 yrs and 82 owner did the honors looks great a few runs need to be sanded out of sealer then buff put it back together and on the road again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheers: :lol: :cool: :D

I'm interested in seeing some pics also! I painted my 81' about 8 years ago it still looks real good for its age :cool:

I plan to have 68 painted very soon. I'm have striped the car myself.:boxing Not a fun job at all;took alot of time. Now it is time for prep. I am shure I will love doing that as much as I loved the striping.
