1978 SIlver Anniversary Paint Code
Hi all,
Does anyone know what the paint code was for the 1978 Silver Anniversary Edition?
On a recent appraisal, the report said my current paint code was 07M. I think it's the red I have. But does anyone know either of these codes?

If the paint code you are referring to is the 2 tone silver/charcoal B2Z option, the paint code is 13/07. If I recall correctly, the 13 is for charcoal (lower body paint) and the 07 is for silver (upper body paint). If your code is only 07, then your car was all silver originally.

JK is close, but has the codes switched: 13 for silver (upper color); 07 for the charcoal silver (lower color). The "07" you say is on the appraisal jives with the 07 available with the silver anniversary paint option, but it was not painted by itself and was included only with the SA paint option.
Regardless, it is not red.
Post the codes on your Trim Tag and you will know what color she was when she left St. Louis. The Trim Tag is on the driver's door hinge post and will list the codes for exterior paint, interior trim, and her Time Build date (upper right hand corner of the tag).

BTW - The Silver Anniversary Avatar is ugly. I've asked a couple of moderators to consider my version to no avail (that is, no response at all after several months). If you think my version is better than the toiletwater brown version available as a default, please make your voice heard and bug troy@corvetteform.com. Thanks.
