Mufflers installed today!
I finally replaced the tired old orignal GM factory mufflers. 
After asking a lot of local Vette folks and gather their opinions, I went with the Dynomax Ultra Flows.

These deliver the deep throaty sound I had been looking for.
I actually turned off the stereo as I was driving home just so I could enjoy the rumble!
