Does anyone have a picture of a C3 in any of these three colors?
Candy Apple Red
Bright Red
Flame Red
Or just any red, I'm trying to choose one, if you have a picture of a red C3 with the paint type on it, even regular red, post it. Help me make my decision ;)
This is called Firecracker red. It radically changes hue depending on what light its in. Dark flame colored red in sunlight, Kind of a pale cranberry under the streetlights at night..
good luck choosing your color..

a buddy up at my work is tryin to get me to do mag red for my 69. its a 3 stage color. there is a pinkish red base coat then a transparent red mid coat. then clear. I'd run that color if i had the ***** to spray a 3 stage red. i think 02 electron blue would look sweet on mine.

The paint code for my color is 72. It is a 1976 color and the 72 is how it appears on the door jamb plate. I was going to reply to your instant message regarding this but forgot your nick, glad that you made a post of it as well.

Here's my 75 with new paint. This is Torch Red (and I believe it was 94 Torch Red). In the link in my signature, you can see pictures of my car at the body shop during the painting process and shortly afterwards.
I just bought paint for my 75 the other day and it's flame orange. I can't remember the other year it was used but they called it flame red. Both paints are the same mix numbers but called different names in different years. Why do auto makers do that?
This is Bright Red. I have this color on my 97 and 00 Camaro's. When I had my Vett painted a couple of years ago, I had the paint shop take the color code from the door jam of my 97 Camaro.
If you go to the second page of on my webb, you can see a picture of the Two Camaro's and the Vette . The paint on the Vette is PPG paint, Base coat, clear coat. Five coats of the base and 3 coats of the clear.
