Default changes to nitrous setup - track results...

Changed my nitrous setup so that I can either run it on a push button or for the entire run. Just wired a switch that would bypass the push button. Tried to make my first full nitrous pass today....

Here is a link to the results...

If warming up the bottle wouldn't have taken so long, I MIGHt have gotten a run in sub 70 degree conditions.. When it was my time to run, it was just to hot for 9's.. Well, the next setup should be in the 9's on engine and 8's on spray.. We will see...

Ya, if that is all it did...it might not be that big of deal. A couple degrees of ambient temp is not worth .07 BTW.

I recorded all my runs and the conditions.. I consistently get .07 to .10 for each 10 degrees lower temps... Don't forget that most of my engines power is on engine with only a small shot of spray... For example.. I ran 10.76 in 93 degrees and 10.35 in 62 degrees, 10.52 in 72 degrees etc. etc. etc... (those were all engine passes)
Calculating ET's for various conditions confirms my results...

http://www.smokemup.com

has plenty of calculators for DA etc...

Like I said "It's the weak link finder." Great numbers though.

Ok, but it is going to be a lot tougher to get now that you are getting faster.

I don't think that it makes a huge difference.. I got the same difference in my 13 second C5... 13.39 in 50 degree weather and 13.89 in 93 degree weather... It might be slightly less as I get faster but I doubt that the difference will be huge.. However, if I will run a bigger nitrous shot, the difference will be less for sure..
