big tent sale 600 cars,chevy and ford. so i figure since i never tried a c5, why not?
NO C5's or C4, c3 c2 c1, none. So i look around for the fastest thing on the lot. 2001 Lightning.
Since i have not tried any new car in 15 years, i took it for a spin. When it went for 2nd gear the revs dropped, and then they shot up near 5000 as the trans attempted to grab 2nd. Finally it grabbed 2nd and it was a dog.it did have blower whine so i assume it made some boost, but not enough, imo. A very wierd shft, like worn out. it had 1351 miles. Not happy, i got back in my 61 and nailed it at 20, hit 2nd at 40 smoking the tires to 60 then i backed off. Grin re-appeared on my face.
