Circle track springs aren't for Corvettes. Call Guldstrand.

Corvette front springs are an odd size....I have never found anyone selling a similar size.

Monty Carlo's have the same OD. I did substitute a monty spring for a corvette spring.

i certainly wouldn't begin to ever think about a 600 or 1000 pound spring but I did search for various springs to try in the corvette and I found the monty carlo had the same OD as the vette and would drop right in the vet pocket. I found the monty springs far to stiff for my liking and got rid of them quick.
I was just saying that the monty spring dimensions are right to fit in the corvette. They tend to be quit stiff.

Go to Guldstrand, don't bother with circle track stuff. Although I don't think Daytona springs (860 lb/in) were much taller than 8.5". Curious to know how he came with 24" ride height. They're not going to compress like a lower rate spring would.

Jim Harrison uses Daytona coils, maybe he'll chime in and tell us how tall those are uncompressed and where his ride hieght is at. Danny's car with 1200lb/in springs sat at probably about 26.5" or so with 317/35-17's on the front.

I plan on trying at least Daytona's at some point, my car does not see the street.
Free length of Daytona spring is 10 7/8". Height to top of front wheel well with small block engine (cast iron block & heads) is 26 3/4".

Dont plan on having a deep oil pan long if you go that low.....

69AutoXR: are you running adjustable heim links on the rear sway bar?, I think they are available from Guldstrand and can you use a sway bar with the stock ends or do you have to switch to different bar with ends that bolt on vertically....

No, I'm using factory endlinks on my rear bar, and there was no binding after I corner weighted the car.

Adjustables are available fro Guldstrand but I don't know any details about them.
