Default Another steering problem

72 big block, auto. with power steering. Jim Shea and others helped me out befor with P/S problem need help again. Replaced pump, adjusted control valve. Now when I let the steering wheel go car turns to the right, no alignment problem befor pump/valve replace & adjustment. Should I try the readjusting control valve. Any suggestions would be appricated.

Try readjusting the control valve again. Sometimes air left in the system really confuses the control valve adjustment.

Just a few tips that worked well for me:
Mark the adjusting nut on one corner (felt tip marker) and a corresponding mark on the ram to be sure of how many turns. Turn the nut SLOWLY while watching the ram movement.
Good Luck....

Also confirm that the power cylinder rod should move easily when the valve is properly adjusted (with the engine running).
