how to disconnect check engine light?

now that the 81 runs correctly without the computer crap on it, I have a permanent check engine light. How do I disconnect it?

Take the bulb out :lol:
Have you changed the carb & dist. & still got the computer plugged in?

Take out the bulb - I second you UKPaul
Cut the wire...
Get a better computer (I'll take the old one.)

Change the lense to 'Go faster!'
