Header Gasket Question
I am about to install my Dynomax Ceramic Coated Headers. I'm going to use copper gaskets. What kind of gasket do I need? Square port, round port, etc.? I'm at work right now and I'm going to pick them up on my way home, so I can't actually look at them now.

Square port, but just ask the parts guy for chevy 350 header gaskets. Don't cheap out on the header gaskets. I have heard that the copper gaskets are good , I used Earl graphoil gaskets with aluminum retainers. Cheap gaskets that shrink are what make the bolts come loose.

I bought a set of square port gaskets last night. They didn't even come close to working. :( I'm going to use the gaskets that came with the headers for now, and get the guy at the speed shop to swap them out later.

Go with the ports of the header, in this case "round", Mr. Gasket makes a nice gasket.. I think the part is #5902 (Ultra Seals) for round. These have a steel screen impregnated into the gasket so it don't blow out that easily, and they "compress" to give a good seal.
Have seen where the copper gaskets, unless the surfaces are perfect have a tendency to leak. Never tried the 1/8" think gaskets from FlowTech that are made of aluminum.
