Need diagnosis-warning lights
Car is an 80
Battery is 5 months old.
Today, both the battery and choke lights came on at the same time .Car runs ok. The needle on the volt guage usually is to the right of "13".Now it's a little to the left.
Both warning lights go out at idle.
I would guess this is alternator related. Any suggestions for
troubleshooting ?

Yep. Alternator has bad diodes. Drive to a local Oreilly and they can test the alt while it's in the car. Make sure you turn on headlights and blower fan and radio to put as much of a load as you can on the alt.
