Bonnet

Does a 1977 bonnet fit a 1980.
I am looking to buy the 1977 which looks like a high rise from the picture.
I trust this isn't an issue.

A '77 isn't really a high rise hood, er bonnet, and probably has a similar to the clearance offered by your '80 bonnet. I think it would look good, but I don't know for sure about fitment.

Only on Easter. It will fit, if the latches are the same. I dont remember when they changed, but it was about that time.

Should fit. I just looked at Ecklers & they list hoods for 68 - 76 & 77 - 81. This tells me it should fit.

Would you have any reason to believe that the under hood clearance is better with a '77 hood than an '80s hood?
