In a side project we have been tryin to figure out why our 81 has a slight pull to the right. When the alignment sheet says all #'s are in spec. My dad noticed that the stock strut rods would fall out of adjustment after a few miles of driving. So we added these. They stay fast in place. But even still,
I assume the tires are in good condition and at the right pressure. I've had good alignment specs but still poor driving characteristics because of a bad shock, worn suspension rubber, separated tread, stuck brake caliper, etc. you got to check it all.
What kind of roads are you driving on?
A car because of the design will always pull on a crowned road.
It will pull in the driection the road is crowned.
So on a two lane road it will pull to the left
on a divided road it will pull to the left on the left lane and to the right on the right lane.
If thats not it, it'spossible that toe and camber are correct, but the thrust angle of the car is off. In other words the rear wheels are pointing off to one side, not down the center of the car.
It's also possible that the steering wheel was not centered when the last alignment was done.
