Default jumpy at light throttle

Just installed my new 750 dp...wow I feel like I'm driving a whole new car. That being said, I can tell it still needs a little tweaking. If I'm on the throttle even a decent bit its fine, and if I'm completely off the throttle its fine, but if I'm just barely on the throttle its very "jumpy." Seems a little like a lean condition, but I need some advice. What should I check/adjust? Its on a 454 if that matters.

Fuel starvation on light throttle? Have you checked the float levels? How about the choke, is it opening up all the way? We need more info.

Make sure that the accelerator pump linkage is tight with no slop. If the throttle plates start to open before it gets a squirt it will hesitate. It may be just a little bit out but when it starts sucking air it needs fuel also. If you slam it to the floor it makes little difference but if you ease it down it will stutter.

Checked the float levels and adjusted them, no choke. I assume its fuel starvation, but I'm not sure. I just know it kind of "bucks".
