Default Electric Choke Question

I have a Holley with an electric choke. I assume it grounds itself on the engine, but where does the one wire plug into? Could I plug it into the positive side of the coil?

Plug it into 12 volt power (key on only in run position). The positive side of the coil only gets 12 volts while you are cranking the engine. While it's running you're getting about 7.5 volts which isn't enough for that choke. There should be a spare male spade connector in the fuse box you can use.

Any male wire I find coming from the fuse box will work? I really appreciate it.

You can get switched power from the wiper motor. Probably yellow wire.

Do a search for this. There was a thread a few months ago talking about how to hook into the wiper motor power.

No. Do not use the coil positive side - it's not 12 volts, and the choke will never open. Use the wiper motor.

Thanks everyone; I will just connect it to the wire going to the wiper motor.
