I would like to know what combination of Monospring and shock absorbers you are using on the rear of your 'Vette and how you like the performance of the combination. I am trying to figure out how to get my suspension to work for highway cruising, street cruising and occasional drag strip use.
TIA!
What I plan on doing is running the VB&P Monospring with my KYB GR2 shocks. I think they are suppose to be used with Monosprings anyway. Hopefully I'll get this put on in the next month or two and be able to post a full report. I hear a lot of people run the bilstein Sports with their Monos and have had some luck with them.

i have front transverse monospring kit (from ecklers), rear composite shortened monospring and QA1 all round.
i bought the slolem set from vbp that came with rear mono leaf spring. bilstein shocks all 4. both sway bars front and rear..way better then stock.car can turn a corner on a dime and holds the road great even over bumps..and the price was good
Not sure if you are interested in a C2 setup but I am running a 460# front and 300# rear composite. Spax external adjustable shocks. I like it. Nice ride and I can turn the shocks up in less than 5 minutes if I want to stiffen it up for the twistys.

This was my first mod. I have a 330# monospring from VB&P and I took Panic's advice about the QA-1 shocks which I think ran about $135 each, not $200. It was a great move! I've been able to adjust the stiffness of the shocks to get the perfect combination of ride & handling. And, the handling improved exponentially which is important since I live on a steep, twisty mountain road. Changing lanes at speed on the highway is no longer an adventure either.
Panic is also a great source for wine recommendations! I believe that's due to his Italian genes.
I have 550lb/in coils in front and a 330lb/in mono in rear, with KYB GR-2 shocks all around. Only problem is I still have to install all of it. Hopefully this is as easy as it seems.
By the way Panic, I love your ride, bad a$$. I like the Repsol sign in the background too. We don't have those here in the US. But we do have Nicky Hayden, for the motorcycle fans....
Thanks for the feedback on the QA1 shocks. This is a new product for us and I like to hear what you all say so I can recommend them if necessary to those who may need them.
Any feedback on any of our parts is always welcome.

Pattie,
I could not find the QA1 on your site. What's your pricing for the 68-82 front and rear?
I have the VB&P mono springs front and rear with Edelbrock IAS shocks on my 72. Handling and ride are great.
Do you experience any of the bounciness common with the rear mono springs?
I've tried alot of shocks and the only ones I have found that ride good is the KYB2's from VBP. The only problem is they are a little soft for driving hard. From the description of the IAS shocks by Edelbrock and Ricors patent (19 pages total ), they sound like the best of both worlds for a street/strip car.
I have the VBP mono springs front and rear. The rear is 330 lb. with KYB GR2 shocks. This is a great cruiser ride but for more spirited driver I would go with Bilstein or QA1.
I drive across a bridge with concrete surface and the Corvette handles the bounce a lot better than my Sierra pickup.
