My next task is to get both door windows aligned ..... after reading some posts on the issue, I am pretty sure what I need to do, but will put this out there to get some REAL experts' advice
The problem: the windows when rolled up when driving +50mph, do not seal and have quite a visible gap. Have to slow down/stop to roll them up and get a decent seal. The windows can be rocked back/forth about 1/2 inch or so.
I have ordered some new anti-rattle cushions that will require to take both doors apart, but have also heard that there might be something on the window motors that can be involved?
What should I check while I am in there replacing the cushions to get the glass properly secured?
Sounds like the window rollers are done also. Go ahead and take 1 door apart, take pics as you go. Thuroghly clean all the tracks and inspect the rollers.
Clean and healthy they look like this; http://www.ecklers.com/find.asp?
replace the worn ones and reinstall the window/tracks/regulator. Lube with White Lithium grease.
CorvetteFAQ has a procedure for the adjustment.

There was nothing found when I clicked on that link. Can you post the pic?
It does look like the rollers are allowing the window (only looked at drivers side so far) to rock side to side ..... I found replacement rollers on madvet.com (3 per window), but has anyone actually replaced these before?
I need some detailed help on this one, doesn't seem like enough room to really do anything inside the door, so I am assuming that I have to remove the glass, then motor and finally the regulator??
Also what do I need to SECURE the new rollers so that I don't have the top of window EVER move outward again (inward is taken care of by the two anti-rattle cushions)......

Here's a pic of everything in the Hurst kit.
They sell a Corvette look-alike **** and shaft available too, but I just used the Hurst shaft and bought a T-handle.
There are blow out clips on the A pillar in the weatherstrip to keep the top from moving out. I can't remember what order everything comes out, but that might be correct, motor and regulator can come out together but be carefull, it can bite you. There is a hole in the regulator to put a safety bolt in to keep it from unwinding if you need to take the motor off.
