I was being sarcastic those were junk the day they were originally built. Look at the shape of the exhaust ports. That was the time when GM just didn't even make an effort at providing power to their customers. Even with the technology they had then there were a lot of things they could have done to increase power and still meet emissions. The best thing you can do to any C3 engine built after 1970 is install better heads.
