Default HELP!!! Tranny Problem

Ok I had a little leak from the front corner of the passangres side pan on the transmission. So I dropped the pan cleaned everything really good and then put some black RVT silicone on and stuffed the thing back on. Waited 1 day to fully let the silicone dry and then put some fluid back in. Started the car and let it warm up. Nothing leaked. Came out the next morning and there is about half a quart of tranny fluid on the floor. SO I DROP THE PAN AGAIN!!! Do everything over. Once again it is leaking. Anyone have some suggestions before I rip the car apart again??? :mad

daily_driver is right. You don't want to use RTV on it. Just like you don't use RTV on the valve covers. Not sure of all the physics of it, it just don't work. Maybe the fluid attacks it and crates holes that can't be filled when the car gets hot then cold again.
