Default hey lars, why not a sticky?

just a thought lars, i know you do your "tuning for beer" tours but would you be willing to do a sticky thread with some carb tuning guidelines? seems like carb tuning threads are pretty frequent (i just posted one a couple minutes ago) and i'm sure you could get most people in the ballpark with just some basic guidelines.

It needs to be a "Sticky For Beers" post.

Lars has a number of excellent tech papers on tuning carbs, working on carbs, identifying carb issues, etc - for Q-Jets, BG, and Holley carbs. I have a lot of them posted on my website's tech articles page.
Perhaps one of them would be helpful to you.

I've had Barry's link under my favorites for some months now. First place I turn to when looking for any kind of technical info. You got a nice library going there Barry.

Following is a list of my currently available tech articles. I recommend that people e-mail me directly for copies of these, as I update them frequently with current and revised info - most of the web sites hosting some of these articles do not have the latest versions of the articles. BarryK does a good job of assuring current revisions on his site, so his hosting is usually up to date. But if you need info, just e-mail me:
