Weather stripping question
Took off my hood in Nov. to have the underneath painted. I just got it back minus the weather stripping that was on it. Tried to research as to where it should go but no luck. As I remember there where two short strips on each side. Could someone post a picture of theirs or direct me to where I could look. Also do I really need it as I like the way it looks now. 
Its a 1979 coupe with the standard hood.

Its optional- But that's what I used on my 80 when it got back from the paintshop. Looks real clean, and the hood fits snugger to prevent rattles.
